Annual title list process

Each year we review the title list and undertake an annual update. New editions and additional new titles are added to Catalyst Core. We also remove a small handful of titles – either where we no longer have author permission to include the title or where a title has such low usage that we want to replace it with a more relevant title in order to add greater value to the package.  All updates across the packages are done simultaneously.  

The list is updated internally once a year, in Q1. The titles of the new list are then added to the MARC Records and delivered to the customers in two batches, one batch at the end of June and one in the following January (for a small number of titles that publish after June that are included in the list). The MARC Records are available to download via Secure Centre as with other Sage LP products. 

The number of new titles added will vary year-on-year depending on what titles Sage publishes that meet the selection criteria. The expected range is between 50-70 new titles will be added to Catalyst Core each year.
